Right, we all know that these day and age, we don't use the computer anymore to back our stuff up any longer, right? You'd be surprised how many people still rely on their good old hardware to back things up, with most major players provide OTA sync and back up options.

Take a look at this Microsoft service. I have only recently activated my windows phone, and also only recently have discovered this service that has become available through Microsoft's marketplace. As you can see it provides the complete service like what other players have. Android with their Google cloud, RIM with also Google cloud (especially with OS 5.0, and Google hosted apps), Nokia with their Ovi store stuff (unsure of how they work though), and totally unsure what Palm offers.

you've heard that they are rolling this out, and again I am one of the few that has it. So enjoy, as I sure am enjoying, sometimes I just don't want to get on to destroy or seesmic thwirl's on my ubuntu setup.

Well, that's a million dollar question, there are tons out there now. I have been blessed with an Android, the PVT32B lower end version (8 months old), a BlackBerry (2 years old), a Windows Mobile (2 years old).

And I am quite amazed as to how many people keep saying 'my phone is better than yours because it can do this ... bla bla bla ...'

At the end of the day it is what you are comfortable with, TECHNICALLY, all these are capable phones, and running on excellent platforms.

One of my 3 laptops is a real old one, a Pentium M running at 1.6 GHz with only 512 Mb of RAM. It was literally running like a dog when I had Windows XP running on it, with SP3.

I decided to give ubuntu another go, after previously played with only a handful of linux distro, one being open suse, and another fedora.

I am a Microsoft Network Partner. The video explains it all, contact me if you are interested. Criteria is quite strict.

Per my previous post, I wish to apologize to DreamHost, as what actually happened was not completely their doing, there is nothing wrong with their system/security, the box that I was being hosted on has never been compromised by the outside.

I have learned, even after moving to hostgator, that the issue was there, STILL!

Well the difference here is that hostgator staff immediately informed me of such malware and advised me to clean them with a couple of programs, one of that works a charm was this.

More info on this 'malware' can be found here and here. The short of it is:

If you see this on your website:

Well, in the last few days of the week, I have been trying to secure a couple of wordpress installations and have since asked dreamhost to remove ALL files from my space in the box where padres resides. I had a confirmation email stating that yes it is now clean as new.

Now, last night I had another attack, I thought how weird I have changed passwords again! Well cut the long story short, the box became unresponsive for about half an hour via http, locked up with gateway time out error, even though I still could get to it via ftp.

I downloaded one of the php files and it looks like this nasty sql injection below

SQLinjection

When it came back up i could see all these files and folders that were suppose to have been deleted as per the email suddenly came back. Not sure who else is on this box, but I am now going to demand a new space

Update!

As per Mashable, I am not meant to be tweeting about this feature as only a select few that has them. My apologies twitter, and my gratitude to this privilege

Loving it!

Adding to list

As you can see I have now an option to put this tweet profile on the list, without having to 'follow'

and if you see on my BlackBerry twitter list, you can see them being on there.

List

This could mean two things:

1. People will drop followers/following like flies

2. A more pleasurable twitter experience that enable people to 'read the list' when they want to. Or in my mind it's like going for a swim when I want to.

Hi, I used to have a personal blog, but after an attack, I have decided to shift everything here! I am a BB addict, who isn't on this site? I am looking forward to blogging with you, especially those in the southern hemisphere, as I think RIM and BlackBerry is under utilised here. They are treated as a corporate device where it should not be treated as so.
Thank you for this opportunity David!
