So i gotta tell you...my faith in RIM OS and software development has been restored by the newest VZW test build, and then swiftly swayed again by android...imagine a device that does the same things that a blackberry can do, but it does everything faster...better hardware, more apps, easier app development, just better. that's android. it's what a consumer blackberry should be. the more i use android, the more i want to use android. there are no headaches, no lag, no freeze...
 
well, except that one time my friend downloaded an app that was meant for a different "version" of android...and it froze so he had to do a battery pull...
 
even when it freezes and lags it's better at that than a blackberry is! and it boots up in no time flat.
 
if you haven't looked at android yet, i suggest you start looking. i'll be a huge proponent of tearing that thing apart when it's released, but i'm doing the same thing to the RIM lineup as well...and may the best device be in my hand!!!

okay, so this is the next evolution of the "ask patches" project...basically i'm just gonna rant and ramble about any topic i see fit...if you have questions, feel free to send 'em...i'll throw 'em in where ever i can. it might even spark a new rant!!
 
i still have all of the old questions, i'm sure there are some that i didn't answer, or maybe i want to re-visit...so we'll see how it goes!
