Having problems with the internet on your Verizon mobile phone?  Well, don’t worry because you are not the only one.  Verizon has suffered a data outage nationwide today.  If you are able to use your internet, then you are one of the truly lucky ones and there aren’t many of you so be proud that you are part of that clan.

The problem has now been fixed, but early this morning, the data outage could have caused major problems for many Verizon users – especially those with smartphones like the Android or the Blackberry – hope you guys didn’t need your mobile for work because these were the two phones that seem to be affected the most.

The majorly affected area in this outage was the Eastern US, while some were still able to use their service.  Some just experienced problems with significantly slower data service and some experienced a come and go service.  Since the problem has now been resolved, if you are still seeing issues with your Verizon data service, I suggest you call customer service!

Hope this doesn’t happen again or Verizon may have some customers switching to Sprint or AT&T!
